To create a link, go to the "Link" Tab in the Dashboard of the ShareClips app, then follow these instructions:
Go to the "Links" tab and click on "Create Link".
Click on the "Title" box and enter a descriptive title for your link.
Click on the "Link" box and enter the URL that will be used for the link to your video. You cannot use special characters, only text or numbers. You want to be descriptive with your link URL so that you and everyone else will know what is in the video, but try not to make it incredibly long either. You have the option to select from a few different URL radio buttons to customize your link URL, so choose whichever you prefer.
Click on "Add Products" and select the products you want to add. Your plan will dictate how many products you can add. You can see the counter in the red box to show how many slots you have available. Then click on "Add".
Click on the video icon to upload your video(s). If they are over the size limit, you will receive an error. Simply select a video with a smaller file size. In the product and description box, you can change the product name and description by clicking on the text and editing it. The info you type here will not affect the actual product title or description in your Shopify store. Click "Delete" to remove a product from the video link you are creating. By clicking "Delete" here, it DOES NOT delete your product from your Shopify store, only your ShareClips link.
Click "Save". If you get an error message that the link URL you choose has already been used by another user, you have two options, 1: rename your link and click "Save" again, or 2: select one of the other available URL radio buttons and see if it available on one of them.
Then go to the "Links" tab and find the link you created. You can click on "Copy Link" to copy your link. Now go ahead and share that link EVERYWHERE you want to promote your products or services. You can use your links in your social media bios, post them in your social media posts, share them in blogs, send them as links in SMS messages, use them in your email marketing, or use them in ads (Important Note: you may not be able to run Facebook ads directly to your links due to a new domain verification requirement by Facebook that requires you to verify domain ownership (such as the domain your Shopify store is on), however, you can run Facebook ads to any landing page on a domain that you own and can verify and you can simply post your links there if you wish.)
